What are the Ark Ministries?
Needs Addressed
The Primary focus of The Ark Ministries is to address the Great Problem that currently exists in our County of controlled substance abuse and addiction!

The means by which we intend to address this Great Problem will be to establish a Recovery Mission that specializes in addiction recovery through the method of Biblical discipleship!
Recovery Mission Goals
​
To provide a controlled environment that will encourage recovery from substance abuse and addiction.
To provide shelter/living quarters, daily food/meals, and clothing/hygiene items for the clients.
To provide labor that will encourage work ethic, classes that will teach biblical/spiritual/financial/personal/ practical life skills, worship services that will evangelize, disciple, and cultivate a spiritual walk with God, and a kindred fellowship with other brothers and sisters in Christ that will encourage spiritual/practical growth in the clients.
One Secondary Focus of The Ark Ministries, Inc. is to address a variety of practical needs that exist in many of the underprivileged families that currently live here in out county.

The means by which we intend to address these problems will be to establish an outlet/discount warehouse/thrift store that would sell wholesale and retail items at a bargain price.
​
Another Secondary Focus of The Ark Ministries, Inc. is to address the great spiritual need that exists in our families; especially among the Young people of our county.
​
The means by which we will address this great need is to conduct regular family and youth rallies at designated locations here in our county.
Rally Goals
​
To conduct regular family/youth rallies that are spiritual and worshipful in nature.
​
To evangelize the families and especially the youth of the Greeneville/Greene County area.
​
To motivate and encourage the families and youth of our area to pursue a close fellowship and a spiritual walk with Jesus Christ.
​
To raise and generate funds to support The Ark Ministries, The Ark Outlet, an The Ark Recovery Mission.
Outlet Goals
​
To establish a wholesale store that will sell secondhand/thrift items (food, clothing, furniture, appliances, HBA, etc.) that will help fund The Ark Ministries.
To establish partnerships with local retail businesses where secondhand items can be purchased for resale. Partnerships to sale/recycle items that are not in the proper condition to be sold to the public, and partnerships with county and city representatives that specialize in family needs throughout local school systems.
To establish a location for the outlet as well as a place for the incoming items to be sorted and prepared for resale, a strategy and network to pick up and collect donated items intended for resale, and a voucher system to help needy and unfortunate families by either donating or selling items at a discounted price.
